Whitening Aftercare Instructions

Follow these simple guidelines for optimum success when using our teeth whitening products. If you have any concerns please speak to your dentist.

Remove the syringe cap and screw the applicator tip into place.
Ensure teeth are clean before inserting trays but do not brush immediately before treatment.
Place a SMALL drop of tooth whitening gel halfway up on the inner front surface of tray (in the front part of each tooth in the tray).
Place the tray around your teeth and apply gently with pressure.
Wipe away any excess gel from the tray edges with a tissue. .
The average treatment per arch requires approximately 0.5ml of whitening gel.
Avoid smoking and staining foods and drink such as, tea, coffee, red wine, curry etc, as this will affect the results.

We recommend you whiten one arch at a time, after 7 days you can check and assess the shade difference.
Clean your whitening trays using a soft brush, running cold water and dry them before storing.
Protect the gel from sunlight and store in a cool dry place.
No eating or drinking when whitening is in progress.
Do not use for more than 4 hours at one time.
If you experience sensitivity we recommend you use a sensitive toothpaste and fluoride mouthwash.
White fillings, crowns will not get whiter, therefore if your teeth shade are lighter you could speak to your dentist if you wish to have your fillings or crowns replaced.
Extra syringes can be brought if you wish to have a top up at an additional cost. Please speak to your dentist.
